Spanish composer Angela Luq, studied composition at L'Esmuc in Barcelona and the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, obtaining her Bachelor's degree. She went on to earn a Master's degree in composition from the prestigious Royal College of Music in London, where her hard work and talent were recognized with a Study Award for Progress, generously supported by the Charles Stewart Richardson fund, in recognition of her outstanding achievements during her studies.

Angela's compositions have been premiered at renowned venues such as Musikaliska in Stockholm, the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall in London, the Latvian National Opera, Vilnius Philharmonic Hall, and L'Auditori & Fabra i Coats in Barcelona.

In 2019, Angela was commissioned by the Royal Academy of Arts in London to compose a piece, which was performed multiple times in the museum, including a private event in the presence of Camilla, the Queen of England.

Angela has been experimenting with blending electronic sounds and acoustic instruments in recent years. In 2022, she worked with cellist Laura Peribañez to compose and produce "Frames", a piece for cello and electronics commissioned by the Spanish Embassy in London. The following year, in 2023, she was commissioned to create a piece for violin and electronics for violinist Roberts Balanas.

Angela has also engaged in multidisciplinary projects, collaborating with artists from various disciplines. In 2020, she premiered her first opera in a medium-length film format at the Tête á Tête festival, after the pandemic forced the cancellation of her opera "ELENA" at the London Britten Theatre.

Angela's interest in film has led her to write and produce soundtracks for several short films, including "Influencia" by Pablo Olewski. She has also worked with notable film composers such as Lucas Vidal, contributing to big projects in film, TV, musicals, and ballet.
